This is not an uncommon occurrence and again we have to point our fingers at Mother Nature.The first thing we would suggest is to call your town office and get the number of the cemetery superintendent and ask them if they will raise the stone for you. Rogan's Memorials will certainly do it, but we have to charge a fee, whereas the sexton might do it for you for nothing. If you decide to call Rogan's we will need for you to give us the information that is on the stone - name, dates and the location in the cemetery to help us find it, a lot number would be great. You wouldn't believe how many times we have heard it is by the Lilac Bush. Do you know how many Lilac Bushes are in a Cemetery! This problem isn't hard to fix, if you know someone who wants to tackle it. What we do is removed the marker from the hole, place more dirt in the hole and then the stone is set back in. The only trick to it is making sure the stone is level to the ground. If not level sometimes the lawnmower will hit it just right taking a piece of the corner with it. I hope this helps.
